From My Own Journey of Motherhood to Holding Others
As a mother, traditional Ayurvedic Postpartum Caregiver, Yoga Teacher and Ceremony Facilitator, I support women and families through the big, beautiful, sometimes messy transitions of motherhood and life.
I hold space with care and presence, weaving the wisdom of Ayurveda, ritual, and healing practices into everything I do. Through postpartum support, healing yoga circles, and personal guidance, I nurture the body, mind, and spirit.
I absolutely love offering my services to women in my community, helping them feel seen, supported, and connected while honoring timeless traditions that guide women at every stage of life.
My postpartum story
After my first daughter was born, I thought I could do it all. I was studying Ayurveda and knew the rituals that could help a new mother: warm meals, daily oil massage, belly binding, herbal baths. My mom cooked for me, and I told myself I’d handle the rest. But very quickly, I realized that caring for myself while caring for a newborn was more than I could manage alone.
With a baby in my arms and nursing on repeat, there was no space for me to also be my own caregiver. I quickly realized what I really needed was someone else to hold that space, so I could simply rest and soak in my baby.
That lesson shaped everything for me. It showed me how essential it is for mothers to be cared for, not just physically but emotionally and spiritually too. Alongside Ayurveda and the wise woman tradition, I am also deeply passionate about the ancient rituals of South America- ceremonies that honor thresholds, transitions, and the deep wisdom carried in our bodies.
Now, as a postpartum doula, I bring these practices into the homes of mothers. Through food, oil massage, belly binding, herbal baths, yoni steaming, and sacred ceremony. Because postpartum isn’t meant to be done alone. You deserve to feel nourished, held, and celebrated.
Training & studies
Over the last 10 years, I've studies with different teachers all over the world. I've trained and studied Yoga with Cat Kabira (School of Energy) in Bali and Therapeutic Yoga for Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in London. During this time, I learned a lot about the female body experience and the natural cycles of life, which is the focus of most of my yoga classes.
I’ve studied Ayurvedic Postpartum Care with Daniela Ahuva Ekman - Partera, Birthkeeper, Herbalist, and Ayurvedic Health Practitioner. She herself trained in traditional midwifery with roots in Mayan and Andean Culture with many great teachers like Daniela Salinas, Abuela Mirna Amaya, and Naoli Vinaver.
I’m currently located in Dubai, the UAE, and available to provide guidance and support to women here and in the surrounding areas.
